APPLE GOODY 
3 (20 oz.) cans sliced apples, drained
1 c. dark brown sugar
Four
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. uncooked oatmeal
Vanilla ice cream

(I add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.)

In large bowl mix together apples and sugar with a dusting of flour. Put into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Melt butter and stir in oatmeal until well coated. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until mixture bubbles in the middle, about 50 to 60 minutes. Serve hot, topped with vanilla ice cream. Serves 10 to 12.
