OREO PIE 
1 stick butter
15 oz. pkg. Oreos
2 c. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 gal. vanilla ice cream
Pecans

Melt 1 stick of butter and mix with 15 ounce crushed Oreos (save about 1/2 cup of Oreos for the topping). Press this mixture into the bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan.

In a saucepan, combine: 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 stick butter, 2/3 cup chocolate chips and 1 large can evaporated milk. Boil this mixture for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Spread 1 gallon of vanilla ice cream over Oreo mixture and top with 1/2 cup pecans. Pour sauce over ice cream and pecans. Place in freezer immediately. After 1 hour (overnight is better), spread carton of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with 1/2 cup crushed Oreos. Store in freezer.
