5 whole eggs 1/2 gallon milk 1 1/2 c. sugar Use double boiler and put milk in pan and warm. Beat eggs with sugar. Put some warm milk in mixture. Combine and cook until it thickens. The longer you cook it, the thicker it gets. It will be much thicker after it cools. |
