FRIED PIE PASTRY | |
5 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. baking powder 4 tbsp. sugar 1 c. shortening 2 eggs, slightly beaten 4 tbsp. vinegar 1 (13 oz.) can Milnot Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Cut in shortening. Add eggs, Milnot and 2 tablespoons vinegar. Fry in oil (while oil is still cold, add the other 2 tablespoons vinegar). Put lid on fry pan while shortening is heating. |
