CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CHIPPERS 
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Nestle cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. Nestle milk chocolate morsels
2 c. Quaker oats (Quick or Old Fashioned), uncooked
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually add combined flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in container with a tight fitting lid. Makes 4 dozen cookies....Enjoy!
