BARBECUED BEEF | |
4 to 5 lb. beef brisket Garlic, onion & celery salt Liquid smoke 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 1 (17 oz.) jar Ken Davis barbecue sauce (or any other brand you prefer) Place brisket in Pyrex dish, sprinkle with salts, rub with liquid smoke (I just pour it over and rub it in). Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Mix barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce and pour over beef. Cover with foil and bake 4 hours at 300 to 325 degrees. Remove from oven and cool slightly; remove all visible fat and slice thin (electric knife works best). Serve with hamburger buns. 1/3 pound per person - serves 12 to 15 people. |
