FRIED OKRA PUFFS 
Cut okra into thin slices. In mixing bowl, combine just enough self- rising flour to cover okra thoroughly with, at least, 1 rounded teaspoon baking powder and at least 1 level teaspoon salt. Mix well. Add enough warm water to make a thick gooey paste. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot deep oil. Cook until golden. Remove and drain on paper towels.
