2 (7 oz.) cans baby clams 1 bottle. or can clam juice 4 or 5 potatoes, diced 3 tbsp. butter 3 strips of bacon, cooked until crisp 2 lg. cans evaporated milk 1 evaporated can of fresh milk 1 med. onion, diced 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. pepper No salt Cook diced potatoes in clam juice using juice from clams too. Saute onions in butter. When tender add to cooked potatoes, and clam juice. Add clams, milk and bacon cut in small pieces. Heat until simmers. Do not boil. |
