CLAM CHOWDER 
3 cans minced clams
1/2 lb. bacon, brown & crumbled
2 c. diced potatoes, cooked
2/3 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 sm. bottle pimiento
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Salt as needed
1 sm. can evaporated milk
Milk, as needed

Saute onion, celery and green pepper. Put clams and juice in saucepan, add cooked potatoes, sauteed peppers, onion and celery, browned bacon, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, garlic salt. Simmer and thicken with cornstarch and water. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
