LEMON PINEAPPLE SALAD 
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, do not drain
1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
1/2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Heat pineapple and sugar to boiling. Add Jello. Stir until dissolved. Add 1/2 cup water. Chill in refrigerator until thickened. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour out to set and sprinkle cheese on top. Double this recipe for 13"x9" pan.
