MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
8 (1 3/4 oz.) MILKY WAY® candy bars (or 13 fun size bars) 1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla Combine the bars and 1/2 cup butter in saucepan, over low heat and melt. Cream sugar and remaining 1/2 cup butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating in between. Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk, stirring until smooth. Add melted candy, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 inch cake pans (3). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. (If using Bundt pan bake 40-45 minutes). Cool few minutes after cooked and remove from pan. ICING: 3 MILKY WAY® bars 1/2 c. butter 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Milk or cream Melt candy bars in butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Blend in just enough milk or light cream to make icing spreadable. (This is just enough icing for Bundt cake or to fill the layers and cover the top of three 9 inch layers. |
