GERMAN CHOCOLATE CHEESE CAKE | |
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 egg 1/3 c. butter 3/4 c. coconut 2 c. sour cream 1/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. pecans 16 oz. cream cheese 2 tbsp. vanilla Combine German chocolate cake mix, 1 egg, butter, coconut and pecans. (Mixture will be dry and stiff.) Press into the bottom of a 9x13x2-inch pan. Combine cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix until smooth and spread over top of cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Combine sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons vanilla and mix well. Top cheese cake with sour cream mixture after removing from oven. Let stand for 15 minutes, then refrigerate. |
