CRACKERJACKS 
8 or 9 qt. popped corn
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda (add after syrup is cooked)

Boil all ingredients, except soda and corn for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add soda, stir in quickly. Pour over popped corn. Spread in 2 large flat pans. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Store in airtight tins.
