POPPY SEED CAKE | |
1/2 c. poppy seed 1 1/3 c. water 1 pkg. white cake mix 1 can prepared vanilla pudding 1 pkg. fluffy white frosting mix Soak poppy seed in water at least 1 hour. Bake cake in 2 round layer pans, 8 or 9 x 1/2-inches, as directed on package except substitute poppy seed mixture for water. Cool. Fill layers with 1 cup of pudding; spread remaining pudding on top. Prepare frosting as directed on package; frost side and top of cake. Refrigerate leftover cake. Submitted by: Linda Walker |
