ground beef
instant rice
green peppers
*V8 Juice Brand

*Please do NOT use ANY substitution for the V8!

Also, you will not need to add additional spices since the V8 supplies all of the flavoring for you. If you need salt after the dish is finished then add it then.

In a large bowl, mix the (uncooked) ground beef and the (uncooked) Instant rice (any brand of instant rice is fine as long as it is "instant" - that is very important). If you use any other rice, your dish will be crunchy and not edible at all!

Wash and hollow the peppers. In a large, deep pot, stuff the peppers with the meat/rice mixture (do not pack too tightly).

Pour enough V8 juice to cover the peppers. (At this time you can drop the excess meat/rice mixture into the V8 as tiny meatballs if any of the mixture is left over).

Cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes and serve over mashed potatoes.
