CINNAMON COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. Brer Rabbit gold label molasses
1 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cold water
3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Mix molasses and water, and stir in baking soda. Add alternately with flour and cinnamon to first mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees, 8 to 10 minutes.
