GOURMET HOMINY BAKE 
2 (1 lb., 13 oz.) cans white hominy
2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, minced
Salt and cracked pepper to taste
Butter
Sour cream
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Drain and rinse hominy. Generously butter a 2 1/2 to 3 quart casserole. Layer the ingredients in the following order: hominy, green chilies, season with salt and pepper. Dot with sour cream and butter. Repeat the layers ending with a layer of hominy. Dot the top with butter and pour the heavy cream over all. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve piping hot.
