CHEESE APPLE SALAD 
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
Medium apples
1/2 c. cream cheese
2 tbsp. chopped nuts
1 c. red cinnamon candy
3 sticks cinnamon & fruit 6
Coloring
Mayonnaise dressing
Salt & pepper

Combine sugar, water and cinnamon candies. Boil 3 minutes. Pare and core apples. Drop in syrup. Boil slowly, turning frequently, until tender and well colored; drain. Chill. Moisten cheese with mayonnaise. Add nuts. Season to taste. Stuff apples with cheese. Serve apples on crisp lettuce. Serve with mayonnaise. 6 servings.
