APPLE TART 
4 c. flour
3 sticks butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
Approximately 6 c. apples
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. flour

Combine first 4 ingredients as for pie crust. Divide dough in half and line jelly roll pan (leave extra around edges to seal when finished.) Spread apple slices evenly over dough.

Combine sugar, cinnamon, and flour and sprinkle over apples. Top with remaining dough. Seal edges and prick with fork. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Drizzle with powdered sugar icing, if desired when cool.
