MICROWAVE PIE SHELL 
1/3 c. Crisco
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cold water
3 or 4 drops yellow food coloring (opt.)

Cut Crisco and butter into flour and salt until particles are size of peas. (Use fork or pastry blender.) Sprinkle water over flour mixture, toss with fork until it clings together, shape into ball, put on floured wax paper, flatten and roll out, handle carefully, it falls apart easily. Put in glass pie plate, prick on bottom and sides with fork. Microwave on High 7 to 10 minutes until crust appears dry.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
