FINGER LICKEN SPARERIBS 
6 lb. country-style spareribs
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 lemon, sliced thin
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water

Brown ribs, add sherry and 1/2 cup water and lemon. Cook covered for 1 hour. In another pan, combine all sauce ingredients and cook for 1 hour. Let spareribs cool in liquid; skim off fat. Remove ribs and drain. Lay ribs in large baking pan, cover with sauce and bake 1 hour at 300 degrees.

This recipe takes a while to prepare but is well worth it. Can make ahead and freeze or reheat on grill or microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
