HOT BUTTERED RUM 
1/3 c. butter
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
4 c. apple juice
2/3 to 1 c. dark rum
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Grated orange peel (optional)

In 8 cup measure, microwave butter and nutmeg at High for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 minutes, or until butter melts. Stir in apple juice, rum and brown sugar. Microwave at High for 6 to 9 minutes, or until hot, stirring twice. Top each serving with orange peel. 6 to 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
