BUTTER RUM CAKE 
1 box butter cake & 6 tbsp. flour
1 sm. box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. cooking oil
4 whole eggs
1 1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. rum flavoring

Mix all ingredients well and pour into a greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until done. While cake is still in pan, pour syrup over it. Let set in pan for 30 minutes.

BUTTER RUM SYRUP:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring

Put all ingredients except flavoring in small saucepan. Bring to boil. Cook until butter is just melted and sugar is dissolved. Add flavoring. Pour hot syrup on cake.
