PEACH COBBLER 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk

FILLING:

6-8 peeled and sliced peaches
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water

Crust: Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Blend shortening with fork until crumbly, add milk. Stir until ball forms. Roll out into a 12x12 square.

Filling: Place peaches at one end of dough and roll like a jelly roll. Slice into 1 inch pieces. Melt butter and pour into 9x12 baking dish. Arrange slices in dish. Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes and pour over slices. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until browned and center dough is cooked through.
