EXTRA SPECIAL CELEBRATION CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. apple juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cold water
1 tub ready to spread frosting (any flavor)
Pastel mint wafers, fruit gems, and shoestring licorice

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 round 9 x 1 1/2 inch pans; dust with flour. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Mix oil, apple juice, and vanilla. Stir oil mixture and water into flour mixture until well blended, about one minute. Pour batter into pans, dividing evenly. Bake 35 minutes and let cool. Remove from pans. Cool; frost and decorate cake with the mint wafers and fruit gems as balloons and licorice shoestrings as strings on them.
