GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, flour and salt. Add enough milk to egg yolks to make one cup. Beat well and then add the dry ingredients and remaining milk. Pour into saucepan and cook until thick. Add vanilla and coconut. Pour into an 8 inch baked pie shell.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. coconut

Beat egg whites until peaks form. Sift sugar and cocoa together. Fold into egg whites. Spread over pie, sprinkle with coconut and brown in 325 degree oven.
