CALIFORNIA SWEET POTATO BAKE 
1 (1 lb.) can sweet potatoes, vacuum pack
Salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. raisins
2 tbsp. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts

Arrange potatoes in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt. In a saucepan mix sugar, cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Blend in orange juice and stir over high heat until mixture boils. Add remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes. Bake uncovered in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are well glazed.
