LEMON BARS | |
1 1/2 c. + 3 tbsp. unsifted flour 1/2 c. powdered sugar 3/4 c. cold butter 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. ReaLemon juice In medium bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press into bottom of lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. During approximately the last 5 minutes while crust is baking: In a large bowl, beat eggs, mix in granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, baking powder, and lemon juice and mix well. Pour over the hot crust. Return to oven for 20 minutes or until golden in color. Cool and cut into bars. Store well covered in refrigerator; serve at room temperature. |
