APPLE CRISP 
4 apples, pared, cored, and cut
6 tbsp. flour
6 tbsp. rolled oats
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground mace
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. whipped topping (optional)

Place apples in 1 quart casserole dish. In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients, cut in butter until crumbly, and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are tender and top is browned. Serve with whipped topping if desired. Serves 6.
