AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD 
Do not refrigerate. Do not cover tightly. Do not use metal spoon or bowl. When you get started it is best to put in a large bowl right away

Day 1: Do nothing.

Days 2, 3 and 4: Stir with a wooden spoon.

Day 5: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar.

Days 6, 7, 8 and 9: Stir with wooden spoon.

Day 10: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar.

Take 3 cups of this and give 3 friends 1 cup each. Now add 2/3 cup oil, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt.

Pour into 2 greased and sugared loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until golden.

Add fruit such as apples, raisins, peaches, strawberries and blueberries, just before baking if desired.
