1 c. Crisco (no butter)
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water or maple syrup
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts (opt.)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream Crisco, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add beaten eggs, vanilla and water. Stir in flour, soda, salt, nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
