CHERRY SOUP 
1 qt. sour cherries
1 qt. water "approximately"
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
Dash salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Place cherries, sugar and water to cover in a large pan and bring to a full boil. Mix egg and milk, add to flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Drop by teaspoon into cherries and cook for 15 minutes.
