MOM'S PORK ROAST | |
This is a family favorite handed down from my grandmother to my mom to me and then to my daughter and son. You will be amazed! 4 lb. pork roast salt and pepper, to taste 1 jar horseradish 1/4 cup soy sauce (I use low-sodium) Preheat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle salt and pepper on roast. Smother top of roast with horseradish (I'm not kidding). Drizzle soy sauce over horseradish. Cook roast for 22 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer reaches 150°F. Let roast stand for 10 minutes before serving. The drippings make a wonderful base for gravy. Note: The horseradish is NOT spicy once it is baked with the roast. Submitted by: Lynn Shiang |
