MOM'S PORK ROAST
This is a family favorite handed down from my grandmother to my mom to me and then to my daughter and son. You will be amazed!

4 lb. pork roast
salt and pepper, to taste
1 jar horseradish
1/4 cup soy sauce (I use low-sodium)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle salt and pepper on roast. Smother top of roast with horseradish (I'm not kidding). Drizzle soy sauce over horseradish.

Cook roast for 22 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer reaches 150°F. Let roast stand for 10 minutes before serving. The drippings make a wonderful base for gravy.

Note: The horseradish is NOT spicy once it is baked with the roast.

This was very tasty! I covered the roast with 3 minced garlic cloves along with the salt and pepper, then spread a thick layer of Heinz Creamy Horseradish Sauce over the roast and set it in the (sprayed) Crock-Pot. Drizzled the soy sauce over and cooked it until tender (basting occasionally with the juices), and it came out well-seasoned and perfectly browned. (And you really don't taste the horseradish). Served with mashed potatoes and mixed steamed veggies for a nice patio dinner
