CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. water
2 eggs, well beaten (save whites for meringue)
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cocoa, mixed in sm. amount hot water
1/4 c. butter

Add cornstarch, salt and sugar to chocolate mixture. Add milk, water and eggs. Stir well. Cook over medium heat until mixture becomes smooth and thick. Remove from heat, add vanilla and butter. Cool 5 minutes. Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites for top. Brown in oven.
