2 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 sm. baskets strawberries
Food coloring (if desired)

Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add water Cook until clear and thick (medium high). Add Jello and food coloring if desired; let cool, but not gel. Cut strawberries in half and put in baked pie shell. Pour sauce over berries; cool with whipped cream. Makes 2 pies.
