PERSIMMON COOKIES 
1 c. Persimmon puree
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground mace
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped pecans
1 egg

Mix persimmon and soda. Cream sugar and butter; beat in persimmon and egg. Sift flour and seasonings together. Add flour mixture 1/3 at a time and beat after each addition. Add raisins and pecans. Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
