CHICKEN LIVERS AND MUSHROOMS 
3 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. chicken livers
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. snipped parsley
1/8 tsp. pepper

Place bacon and onion in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave at high (100%) until bacon is crisp and onion is tender, 3-6 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Microwave at medium high (70%) until chicken livers are firm and tender and sauce is thickened, 17-20 minutes, stirring once or twice. Serve over rice or noodles if desired.

This can also be prepared on top of stove. Fry bacon and onion, brown livers, then add other ingredients and simmer until done. Makes 4 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
