JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. corn meal
4 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. diced jalapeno chilies
2 finely minced cloves garlic
1 c. finely chopped onions
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Mix dry ingredients. Add rest of ingredients except the butter. Use the butter to grease an 8 or 9 inch pan. Bake in a hot oven, 400 degrees, for 40 minutes. I use egg substitutes, low fat milk and a low fat butter.
