APPLE COBBLER 
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt (optional)
3/4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter
4 1/2 c. sliced, peeled apples
Sweet biscuit crust

In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt and cinnamon. Slowly stir in the water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add lemon juice, butter and apples. Cook 2 minutes.

Prepare the sweet biscuit dough. Place the warm apple mixture in a shallow 2 quart baking dish. Top with biscuits and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot. Makes 6 servings.
