AUTUMN APPLE CAKE 
1 c. oil
2 eggs
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon

Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix all ingredients. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool completely.

FROSTING:

1 pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Blend cream cheese, milk, vanilla, and salt. Gradually add powdered sugar. If necessary, stir in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time. Put on cooled cake.
