2 cans water chestnuts, drained 1 lb. bacon, cut into sections long enough to wrap around chestnuts SAUCE: 2/3 c. catsup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2/3 c. brown sugar Wrap each chestnut with bacon. Secure with a flat toothpick. Place on cookie sheets with sides. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes, turning half way through. While appetizers are baking combine sauce ingredients in small pan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to keep sauce hot. Place appetizers in serving dish and top with sauce. NOTE: Can be reheated in microwave. |
