GRANDMA'S POTATO SALAD 
14 med. potatoes
7 eggs, hard boiled
1/2 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. green onion, chopped
Salt
Pepper
Mayonnaise
Bacon (optional)

Boil potatoes until done. Let cool. Peel and cut into bite-size pieces. Slice boiled eggs. Mix together potatoes, eggs, vinegar and water. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Mix and set aside. Chop green pepper, celery and green onion. Add to potatoes. If desired, add 6 slices of crisp bacon (broken into pieces). Add mayonnaise to taste.
