MISS HELEN'S CREAM OF BROCCOLI
SOUP
 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
3 c. whole milk
1 c. half and half (light cream)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cheddar cheese soup or 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
4 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
Dash of garlic powder & salt

1. Combine broccoli, milk, cream, and butter in large saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil.

3. Cover and reduce heat.

4. Add remaining ingredients.

5. Simmer over low heat for 12 to 15 minutes.

6. Stir frequently.

Serves 6 to 8.
