1 c. oatmeal
1 stick butter
1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cocoa
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. nuts

Mix oatmeal, butter and boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Add sugar to oatmeal mixture with eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Stir in 1/2 of the chips. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Top with remaining chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Very moist.
