PRETZEL JELLO | |
2 2/3 c. pretzels, chopped (large size, no salt) 1 1/4 c. melted butter Melt butter and combine with pretzels. Press in the bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool completely. 1 1/2 c. sugar Cream together cream cheese and sugar. When pretzels are cool, spread cream cheese mixture over the top. It is hard to spread. Spread about 3/4 of the Cool Whip over the top of Cream cheese mixture. 1 (3 oz.) pkg. of strawberry Jello, dry 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin, dissolved in a little cold water (1 tbsp.) 3 sm. (10 oz. each) cartons frozen strawberries, partially thawed Heat pineapple juice and add 1 package of strawberry Jello (no water added), add the tablespoon unflavored gelatin dissolved in water. Stir until Jello is completely dissolved. Chill in refrigerator, until it starts to get jelly like. Add 2 cartons of frozen strawberries, with liquid. When all is mixed together spread over the top of the Cool Whip. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the strawberry mixture when it is set. This can be used as a salad or dessert. |
