1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Fold into flour and vanilla. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until knife blade comes out clean. Cool in pan before turning out.
