2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1 tbsp. dark molasses

RED SAUCE:

1/3 c. water
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar

Mix ingredients of marinating sauce and bring to a boil; let cool. Put 6 (1 pound) pork chops in a pan with bone side up. Pour sauce over chops and let stand overnight in refrigerator. Place in a baking pan and cover tightly with foil; bake about 2 hours at 375 degrees.

Mix all ingredients for red sauce and bring to a slight boil. Dip chops in sauce and return to pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. You may grill lightly after this for 15 minutes. Sauces can be reused if brought to a boil and stored in freezer.
