CHICKEN & RICE 
1 c. rice
1 pkg. dry onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. mayonnaise
Salt & pepper
Chicken, legs work best

Spread rice in a 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Sprinkle onion soup over. Pour cream of mushroom soup over that. Spread mayonnaise over chicken, salt and pepper and lay on top of rice. Pour 2 cups boiling water around sides and chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 hours, uncovered. Double all ingredients for larger families. Use 3 cups boiling water for 2 cups rice, etc.
