OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. raw sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white flour or (1/2 c. wheat & 1/2 c. white)
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts (preferable walnuts or pecans)
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. oats

Beat shortening, sugar, eggs, water and vanilla together until creamy. Sift flour and soda; add to other; blend well. Stir in nuts, chocolate chips and raisins. Then add oats. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

P.S. To put on cookie sheets just scoop up a teaspoonful of dough and scoop onto pan. Michelle knows how, she's helped me make them before.
