5 FLAVOR POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 5 eggs, beaten 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 1 tsp. each lemon, rum, butter, vanilla coconut extracts Cream shortening, butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and stir. Mix flour and baking powder, add alternately with milk. Add extracts and stir. Pour into 10 inch tube pan and bake 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Test after first hour. Might try almond instead of coconut. |
